Designing Automated Market Makers for Illiquid Assets
Most of our world’s assets are illiquid, meaning there exist very few opportunities to trade them. Max’s research focuses on creating innovative models to enhance liquidity and efficiency in these markets. The ultimate outcome of this topic area would be a working automated market design for trading illiquid assets that is more automated, efficient, and market-driven than current solutions.
DFCRC oversees and operates a 10-year, $180 million research program as a collaboration between industry partners, universities, and the Australian Government through the Cooperative Research Centres Program. Our mission is to develop and leverage the next transformation in financial markets – the digitisation of assets traded and exchanged directly on digital platforms.
