
Bernadette is the Energy, Resources & Industrials Industry Leader for Deloitte Australia and Asia Pacific Vice Chair. She works with energy and resources companies, regulators and government organisations across the Australian and Asia Pacific industry.
Bernadette has more than 30 years of experience in the energy, LNG, chemicals and resources value chain. She supports companies to improve business performance and productivity, implement growth strategies and new technologies, tackle the challenges of the energy transition and become more sustainable and inclusive.
Bernadette is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers Australia and Board member of the Chemical College, Past President and Life Member of the Energy Club of Western Australia, Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Member of Chief Executive Women and former Director of METS Ignited, the Industry Growth Centre for Mining Equipment, Technology and Services where she served as Chair of the METS Ignited Audit Committee.
She is active in the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and was the recipient of the 2024 Award for Sustainability and Stewardship in the Oil and Gas Industry for South Asia & Pacific Region.
Bernadette speaks frequently at energy and resources conferences and writes on trends and developments in the Australian and global industry.
Prior to joining Deloitte, Bernadette was Managing Director, Energy for Accenture Australia. Throughout her career, Bernadette has held senior energy sector roles, including with Exxon Company International, Esso Singapore, Arthur Andersen and SAIC.
