Elizabeth Reed

Elizabeth Reed is the Co-CEO, Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Digital Finance Ventures at the Digital Finance Cooperative Research Centre (DFCRC), leading the commercialisation and industry engagement strategy for the Centre. She brings to the DFCRC over 20 years’ executive leadership experience, including over 15 years in banking and finance. This includes 10 years at Macquarie Bank, as well as executive roles across major banks and start ups, and a breadth of expertise driving innovation, commercialisation and deal execution.

Prior to her current role at DFCRC, Elizabeth was DFCRC Chief Commercial Officer, with responsibility for its commercialisation and industry engagement strategy, and she also has experience as a CEO.

Elizabeth’s roles have included experience in executive management, corporate advisory, law, mergers and acquisitions, strategic leadership and sustainability, with a focus on innovation and building strong industry partnerships and engaged, high-performing teams.

Elizabeth has studied negotiation at The Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution, London, United Kingdom, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Sydney.
