The Perth Critical Minerals Exchange (PCMX) Initiative
The Perth Critical Minerals Exchange (PCMX) Initiative aims to build a better and more profitable marketplace for Australian critical minerals producers.
Longer term, the aim is to create a critical minerals marketplace for Western Australia, based out of Perth, built on new digital finance technology that enables the effective trade and pricing of critical minerals in Australia.
The project is in its early stages. Phase 1 of the project involves building a price reporting agency to ensure Australian producers realise market value for their critical minerals.
Digitisation of Critical Minerals Forward Production
The DFCRC is working with its partners on developments to turn production output in critical minerals into investable product. This initiative is aimed at improving the critical minerals marketplace in long term price finding, increased liquidity, and better support for the activation of new production capacity.
